… as another 40 are taken into quarantine
The Diario reports that around three dozen passengers arriving this morning at Madeira International Airport from Lisbon are already on their way to join those already at the Quinta do Lorde Resort hotel (photo) for compulsory quarantine.
They were taken by two buses chartered for the purpose and accompanied by a strong police contingent. Today’s operation is reported to have run more smoothly and quickly in comparison to yesterday.
Among the passengers sent to the Qta do Lorde hotel in Caniçal, which was recently sold, there are accompanied children.
At least five of the TAP plane’s passengers were authorized to quarantine at home.
