“It seemed to have a short form name of SSS (displayed in the flowers at various points ) – not sure what the first S stands for but it was something to do with the Irmãos do Santíssimo Sacramento. It was a real art to see the carpet laid out and the only one who got to walk on it was Bishop of Funchal!”. Thanks Sue!
In answer to yesterdays teaser, the cruise ship ‘Braemar’ in Funchal yesterday, is 31.2 meters longer than when it last came to Madeira over a year ago. I would have accepted 31 meters as the correct answer for a free all expenses paid holiday in the Maldives, but looks like I will have to go myself.
There was live bullfighting on TV on Sunday afternoon. Fine thing for prime time for the kids to be watching I must say. Disgusting, and it is not a sport, and please don’t tell me that I am being disrespectful to tradition, it is just plain disgusting.
