Data protectionWith all the recent publicity surrounding Facebook user data being “mined”, this is just a quick post to confirm that this website is fully compliant with the new requirements of the GDPR, the new data protection law coming into force on May 25th 2018 across the European Economic Area. The General Data Protection Regulations affect European and non-European businesses using online advertising and measurement solutions when their sites and apps are accessed by users.
This site holds absolutely no data from visitors other than a user-name and e-mail address from those who choose to “Comment” on the Blog or make a contribution to the Forum. This is simply to stop spam. The website does not conduct reader surveys or polls and as a result we hold no additional information on our subscribers or their tastes and preferences.
