Marítimo play Caniçal in the final of the Madeira Cup tonight. I can’t imagine who could possibly win that.

  1. Hi, just registered so testing the system! I was in Madeira last week and, as always, had a great time, not at all happy to be back in cold, wet, windy Wiltshire.
Well done with the new blog, it’s great to be able to keep up with the news in Madeira.
Have a nephew coming to the island next month who hopes to do some surfing, something I know nothing about can anyone offer info or advice please?

  2. Where is everyone today?????

The weather has been crap so i know your not at the beach.

Doesnt seem to be many surfers about Pam, but welcome to the blog and hope to see you on here more often.

Just seen the new Ad for M&S on the Net , im told they are launching a Penny Bazaar tomorrow for the next 3 days , where selected goods can be brought for a penny, must say Twiggy is looking good in the ad.

So what is going on with our weather, we have passed the middle of may and still no sign of summer, its appeared a few times but soon to disappear again.

And just one more thing to moan about , Petrol prices, yesterday they increased unleaded 95 by 3 cents, what the hell is that all about, has the price of oil gone through the roof again , if so i must have missed it.

Ok im going now , might be in a better mood tomorrow if the sun shines.

  3. Thanks Pam, I thought someone would have helped with surfing tips. As my surfing experience was spent mostly underwater I am not the right person to ask, but I believe that Paul do Mar is the best place to go these days. Ask Tourism, as there is a link on the right of this page.

Hope you are cheered up today Tobi … spelling was good though.
